In which trek rejoices

I have been waiting for this since I bought my Kindle! The New American Bible Revised Editionis now available in Kindle format and the cover art is charming. I purchased my copy Wednesday evening for just $5.99.

I read the preface to the new edition and the preface to the Pentateuch Thursday morning and then Neatnik and I read Genesis chapter 1 together.

The footnotes appear after the text of the chapter and things are nicely cross-linked.

This edition is lendable but that strikes me as kind of funny: I don't know anyone who has read the entire Bible, Genesis to Revelation, in two weeks or less.

Isn't God good?! A great price on the most important book a person could ever read.

I got my NKJB on sale for 6 bucks for my Kindle.

Enjoy reading with Neatnik.

Now I really want one.

That is odd about it being lendable!

Maybe someone who wanted a quick reread? a former mega-church pastor? Yes, odd. e-read needs to iron out the kinks, starting with the little "e". Argh.

Oh, I originally meant to say that King James's is the one true Version! :)

I may not have the same faith as you BUT... I do love the fact you share your faith with Neatnik. I bet if you challenge her to read the entire book in two weeks, she would!

That sounds great :) I've been pondering getting a bible for my iPhone but I like my paper based version. I can imagine it would be good and one less thing to carry in my purse.
