Some days, when you are a parent, you find the darnedest things in the darnedest places. Like a full water bottle in a bedroom closet, the child to whom it belongs having no memory of leaving there. Or crayons under the couch.
Or Butterscotch in the pantry cupboard.
Butterscotch in handknit stole.

Who knew?

I especially liked the 'pie' baking in the oven, that I neglected to peek into before pre-heating. It was a book. I never made the mistake of not looking again.
Mysteries!!! At least it wasn't in the oven, right?
Sometimes I find cereal in the frige; it's not until quite a bit later that I think to look for the milk in the pantry!! Yup - there it is.
I find weird things in the refrigerator all the time: my son's blankie, my husband's sunglasses, and once, the sock I was knitting!
I'm just as absent-minded. Love the way Butterscotch is wrapped up warm.
Guess that happens to everyone. I may not have a butterscotch but I get it, lol
I am not a parent. Hence I have no excuse whatsoever for all the stuff I find in weird places around here.
It's just sad, really...
Butterscotch was on duty. Guarding those spices...
