So close

Last night, I was so unbelievably close to casting on a shawl. I had the yarn. I had the circular needles. I had the pattern. I had the moral support. I had left the stitch markers at home.

So the Blue Suede Sock is bigger and the luscious baby alpaca yarn is still waiting to grow up into this.

This afternoon, though, I converted to the new Blogger.

7 yarns:

Awww-Don't you hate when you do that? I'm hearing new Blogger can be finicky and it's played a few little tricks on me. It does have some better features though. That is one nice shawl!

I'm told that you'll no longer be able to easily reply to comments... If that's the case and you want to email a reply to me, can you use my SoC email? The gmail one is sacrificial - having it out on blogger, it seems to be spam bait...

Hey, the shawl will have its day. Meanwhile, I'd say progress on a sock is a good thing. Especially when you consider the current temps!

The shawl pattern is beautiful; I'm looking forward to seeing you knit it up. Glad you had the sock with you.
