Overcoming stress

All doneThe Odessa is finished. Despite the fact that I experienced major stress over this hat, I may knit a second one for a friend's upcoming birthday. It looks so nice when finished; this picture really doesn't do the hat justice. It really is a brick red/brown/plum color and the beads just set off the color so nicely.

5 yarns:

The hat turned out beautifully! I have that on my list of to-do projects too. Have the yarn and beads, now just need to find the time.

If I hadn't dorked-up so much, this really would have been a quick knit. Stringing the beads went faster than I had expected but it was a bit of a bother having to push them down all of the time. Other than that, if I could just figure out how to remind myself to yarn over when necessary...

The beads look like stars on the head; they are clear but the holes are silvered - got them at the craft store for really cheap and have tons leftover - want them?
